a Brief Description

well it took about X years but LS has finally/officially been approved for a listing on imdb.com. That may not seem like much, but if you were around for the early Internet days and remember how amazing a site it was to settle movie arguments, it is kind of cool.

Bonus Coverage: Cleveland Mag has a monthly podcast that I was a part of. It goes into the article in a little more detail. Marvel! Astound! Hear me say lots of “umms.”

a Brief Description

If you live in Cleveland, please check out, well, Cleveland. They did a really tremendous article on the film this month and Superman’s origins in the city. Thanks to Erick Trickey who wasn’t content to write the same old article that gets written everywhere else. He saw the movie and wanted to do the exact same thing, show how the city helped conjure up the hero. And thanks to Jennifer Kessen who really knocked it out of the park with the art direction for the piece — really ingenious. And another thanks to Chris Walters, who really worked some serious magic and was totally cool in freezing temps in an alley off Prospect. Visit his site here. I never thought the one season I watched ANTM would actually come in handy. I’m not lying: it totally did.

Buy the mag or read it here.

And to YOU who have stumbled onto this website by reading Erick’s article: welcome! Please check back soon for places where you can actually (hopefully) see the movie and if you have any questions or comments, please write me at brad.ricca@case.edu anytime. Happy New Year and welcome aboard.
