so anyway, now that the film is “out there” and people are seeing it, I finally mustered the courage to send it to some people who have been bugging me for it. Case in point: Brad Meltzer, author, do-gooder, and overall masculine cheerleader — scroll down (way down) for all he did for Cleveland. All that being said, Brad is (like me) a huge snob when it comes to this stuff, so I was, to put it mildly, blown away by his response. Totally made my weekend. He even recommended it on his blog for Best Summer Movies! The guy is a complete prophet of niceness but he is also a HUGE critic so yeah, cue the Sally Fieldness from me. Earth-2 DOES exist and the cosmic treadmill is in perfect working order.

As for Brad M, MY recommendation isn’t the novels, ID Crisis, GA, etc. (though those are all great) but his run on Justice League of America. Go to Borders/buy the hardbacks. You will not be disappointed. Best.Solomon.Grundy.EVER. And the intro(?) of a new favorite villain: Dr. Impossible. Love that name.
